Double click on game.love to launch the game. Make sure you install love2d here: https://love2d.org/

Tip: You can skip the intro sequence by pressing "Enter" but it'd be great if you watched what we worked so hard for!

When pressing "Begin" after watching the intro sequence, you can go ahead and drag your worker cards (indicated with a 'v' at the top right) onto the resources card (indicated with an 'r' at the top right of the card).

At the moment you can only process Trees (resources) into Wood (materials) at the moment but if you somehow get Ores, that's fine too. You can sell all 'materials' by dragging anything that has the 'm' character to the sell area on the top right.

You can buy weapons in the shop and the concept is you can drag the items onto the workers (indicated with a 'v' at the top right of the card) and it'll become a stronger class.

After you're ready, press "Tab" and you can click on any cards that have the 'v' character at the top right of the card in your play area to send them to battle. You can select a maximum of 5 cards to send to battle, and if the card is highlighted green, they are going to be sent to battle. Once you've chosen all your cards that you want to send to battle (make sure nothing is stacked on the villager), press enter.

Once in battle, you can re-arrange your cards. The left-most card will go and attack your enemy's left-most card. Once you're ready, press "Start Battle!" and you will see animations playing where each of the left-most cards are attacking.

If you win, you get 50 gold for each enemy you defeat. If you lose, you get sent back to the main menu and get assigned to a new team that has an entirely new set of cards (unless you get the same team as your previous run by chance).

A general guide, if you're in the victory screen, just press "Enter". Same goes for the defeat screen, but avoid staying in there for too long ;)
